We're Moving, But First: Maintenance
Management |
 |
 |
Double the productivity
of the typical maintenance department, and cut
downtime on critical equipment in half at the same
time. The average maintenance department in the
United States has technician productivity of about
35%. It's not the fault of the technicians: it's
managers who don't know better - who get in the
way with policies, procedures, and lack of
support.
It doesn't have to be that way. An
effective maintenance management program will cut
costs while making it easier for you to deliver
top-notch service to your customers. By reducing
delays, you get better satisfied, more productive
workers, which yields more uptime. |

plants over 40 years. "My approach to Maintenance
Management involves practical steps for improving
your operation without an expensive consulting
contract, and for measuring your progress along
the way." |

We're Moving in late
April Many of you have heard that the Burlington
Industries headquarters building will be torn down
in the fall. After 21 years here, we're moving.
That's the bad news.
The good news is that
we'll be in a much better location, less than 3
miles away: more room, easier to get to, closer to
motels and restaurants, and closer
parking.
We'll tell you where we'll be in
an upcoming newsletter. We expect to start in the
new location on May 3. |
