Testimonials
"I have followed the maturing of MPACT® for over fifteen years. It remains the finest offering of maintenance skills training to which I have ever been exposed. The quality of materials, classroom instruction, simulator application, and testing of practical application is outstanding."
"Many Thanks to Pete Little and his staff, for the excellent training that our maintenance employees received by MPACT. These critical skills learned by the tech's resulted in a smooth start up for our automation system."
"Congrats to Pete Little and the Crew who built MPACT into the service to the industry that it is! As you are learning, there is a real deficit for quality maintenance training and skills development out there. I commend you on your efforts to fill the void with high quality and respected training."
"MPACT® offers exceptional training at a practical cost. Our organization has benefited from their training format. Everyone we're sent has spoken highly of the professional training offered by MPACT®."
"Although the MPACT® programs are primarily designed for craft personnel, I have found them very beneficial for first line supervisors in both maintenance and operations. The instructors, program content, and facilities are excellent. I have attended a lot of maintenance-related classes and seminars over the past 35 years, and MPACT®'s rank among the best."
"Over the past few years, we have had the occasion to work with MPACT® as we pursue the strengthening of our organization through continuous learning. MPACT® remains a strong partner in our learning process and has provided us with great resources for learning. We have utilized MPACT®'s instructional services to undergird our maintenance apprenticeship program with great success. Additionally, we have utilized instructional support from MPACT® for our basic electricity training. We have been well pleased with all aspects of MPACT®'s instructional support and look forward to a continued partnership."
"The society that scorns excellence in plumbing, because plumbing is a humble activity, and tolerates shoddiness in philosophy, because philosophy is an exalted activity, will have neither good plumbing nor good philosophy - neither its pipes nor its theories will hold water."
"Having been associated with technical training programs all over the world in both public and private sectors, I was absolutely blown away by the quality and effectiveness of both the instruction and training aids throughout the MPACT® Program. My hat's off to Pete Little and his program staff!"
"I have learned not 'theory' but real world application of maintenance planning and scheduling from truly professional (read that as experienced, knowledgeable and dedicated) instructors at the MPACT® Center. It doesn't stop there, if I have a problem, I know that I can call Pete for suggestions and rely on them being on target. That is peace of mind."
"I have seen first-hand the effects of the MPACT® training program, as a maintenance manager with Burlington Industries and as an MPACT® student myself. I was able to see technicians advance through the MPACT® program and see the skills put to use on the plant floor. Technicians who started out changing parts just to see if that would fix the problem suddenly start identifying the causes of a component failure and determining what is needed to reduce the future occurrences. The MPACT® program has a lot to offer a maintenance department. The controlled hands-on training methods of the program mesh theory and practical application. I myself as an engineer rarely see a day that I don't use the skills and knowledge I gained from MPACT®. I constantly recommend MPACT® to my customers because I know the great things it can do for their maintenance department."
"For quite some time, I felt the need to reinvest in my maintenance staff so that they are more productive and well rounded, because of learning other skills. For some, the skills training course work was new, and for others it has acted as a refresher course to hone their skills. The MPACT® maintenance craft courses have been a perfect fit by allowing members of my maintenance staff to go to a local school that is geared towards maintenance trades. I have heard positive feedback from my staff after attending classes, and personally took a class and was overwhelmed by the knowledge of the instructor. I came away with a new perspective, and new ideas."
"I was Plant Engineer at the Burlington Industries Caroleen Plant when it was sold to Galey & Lord Industries. The year after purchasing the plant, Galey & Lord decided to modernize the plant. At the completion of the work I was told I would have to reduce my department from 14 craftsmen to 7. I was able to talk management in to letting me keep 9 mechanics. I thought I should have at least 11 but couldn't get management to agree. In 1999 I was about to try again, and sat down to write a justification for adding 2 mechanics. It was then I realized I didn't need 2 more, but could actually do with 2 fewer, a total of 7 craftsmen. I could do this because of MPACT® training. The program's requirement for cross training had put me in a position that would allow me to do the work required of the department with fewer craftsmen."
"I have worked with the MPACT® Center since 1990. Their approaches to helping organizations improve the bottom line by teaching the critical skills required to keep those organizations running and well maintained are superior to all others of which I am aware. They have my highest recommendation."
"I have received my technical training from MPACT®. When I came to the training center I wanted to get the the skills to be a good electronic technician in an industrial setting. I received the training through valuable printed materials and hands on training in the labs at MPACT®. I count this training as the best tool in the performance of my job as a technician. If I had to recommend a training program for industrial maintenance, MPACT® would be the one."
"Every day I see the results of the excellent training that our maintenance employees were afforded by MPACT®."
"Very good course. I hope I can come back for more. Great Instructor."
"Great applications of real-world situations."
"Outstanding job by instructor. Everyone needs to attend."
"We sent a boiler operator, a staff engineer, and a master mechanic. All thought 'Systematic Troubleshooting' was a valuable course. The boiler operator told me it was the best training course he has attended and that all production machine operators should have this type of training."
"I have never had much knowledge of circuits until I took this course. Not only was it given in a manner I could understand, but I was able to keep up with people who have had this before."
"I am proud of this organization for providing this type of training."
"I really enjoyed this class. I really did not know a thing about troubleshooting this way until I took this course."
"Very good course. Anyone involved with maintenance should take this course (Practical Mechanics). Chuck is a very good instructor."
"You guys are a class act."
"Helps a person to think more and ask questions in an orderly way." back to top |
