The MPACT® Advantage

MPACT educates. Our students adapt to new equipment by applying consistent principles of good maintenance from one machine to the next. Each class builds on previously learned material to bring students toward a full understanding of maintenance concepts and applications.

Hands-on labs. We set aside one training station for every two students. We have invested in outstanding equipment, designed for educating students.

Fast-track time frame. Most of our one-week classes cover the equivalent of a quarter to a semester in a vocational or technical school.

Small classes. We keep our class sizes around 12 for most classes, so that our instructors can give personal attention to each student. Students often say that at MPACT, they feel the instructors truly care about how well they learn.

Flexible schedule. We schedule four months out and adjust to meet the needs of our customers.

No minimum class size. Customers with a limited number of technicians can send one student at a time, preserving their resources.

Accountability. Final exams are given for almost all subjects and feedback is sent to students' managers.

Certification. MPACT is an approved sponsor of Continuing Professional Competency credits for Professional Engineers and Registered Land Surveyors licensed by the State of North Carolina, and provider of related instruction that meets the Approved Apprenticeship Program requirements of the North Carolina Department of Labor.

Over 20 years of experience. Over 20,000 students from more than 150 companies have benefited from MPACT's emphasis on hands-on training and transferable concepts in electronics and mechanics, and the numbers keep growing!

"I have seen first-hand the effects of the MPACT® training program, as a maintenance manager with Burlington Industries and as an MPACT® student myself. I was able to see technicians advance through the MPACT® program and see the skills put to use on the plant floor. Technicians who started out changing parts just to see if that would fix the problem suddenly start identifying the causes of a component failure and determining what is needed to reduce the future occurrences. The MPACT® program has a lot to offer a maintenance department. The controlled hands-on training methods of the program mesh theory and practical application. I myself as an engineer rarely see a day that I don't use the skills and knowledge I gained from MPACT®. I constantly recommend MPACT® to my customers because I know the great things it can do for their maintenance department."
